Dear Father in Heaven,
I just want to Thank You for not judging me
the way religious fanatics do and for loving me the way that they do
not. Thank You for Your Forgiveness and Mercy; the two things that so
many of Your children claim to possess, but do not. Thank You for Your
Amazing Grace...How sweet and healing it has always been to my soul!
Help me to be better today than I was yesterday, better tomorrow than I
was today. Help me to allow YOU to be seen in me, instead of people
only seeing me just being me. Help me to not judge others unfavorably,
to love them as You love me, forgive them as You have so lovingly
forgiven me time and time again, to be as merciful to others as You have
always been toward me, and to always be graceful and extend grace in
all things.
Help me this day, Oh Lord I pray, and every day that is
to come, for it is You alone that guards and guides my life. May I not
cause You shame.
